| Our Mission |
The African American Heritage Center, Inc. is a cultural educational facility designed to echo the events of the past, reflect on the activities of the present and preserve these events for future generations. Its activities and programs highlight the profound contributions and heritage of African Americans' rich history.
Its purpose is to enhance, through appropriate programs, genealogical research, workshops and activities, an increased understanding of the life of African Americans.
The Museum is designed to serve as a source of pride for youth and other citizens of the county, state and nation.
